Had a takeaway from Ovilash which was delicious, the food was hot and fresh, the chicken tikka curry was tender and tasty, the egg pilau rice was light and aromatic, the garlic nan and onion bhaji the same quality. The service was excellent, when we arrived the man invited us to sit down while the order was collected from the kitchen, the young man who bought the food to us held the doors open for us to leave, all very respectful of customers. The restaurant is small and the decor impeccable, it has a very cosy atmosphere. We both agreed it was probably the best curry meal we have had and we have had quite a lot. We look forward to more takeaways and meals in too as it was very nice....

Booked late on Saturday evening after pre-arranged plans went out the window. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, and generally looked happy for our custom. It wasn't overly busy, as we thought due to the Champions LeagueI final being played at this time. But that suited us fine. We had a few poppadoms to start with all the usual dips, all very nice and nice, non greasy. I had a dish that I'd never heard of for my main, which was Bangladeshi Labra. My wife had Chicken Tawa. Both dishes were delicious and we both said they were one of the best curry dishes we'd had. We had a peshwari man and rice as side dishes. Beer is Cobra on tap which is nice. We have just finished our very first meal from this restaurant which we had delived. Very polite friendly man on the phone. Curry arrived literally exactly at the given time by a very smart polite man, the food was a 12 out of 10! Everything was so fresh tasty and beautifully cooked. My partner who is fussy and usually not over keen on Indian food said it was amazing best he'd ever had, and his Peshwari Nann was so fresh. We were so impressed we rang to tell them.
