We did the Tour of Ashton old baths (we had to book well in advance as it's very popular) and I can see why
It may be offices now but they haven't taken all the old features out
There is an amazing mixture of new and old
The tour guides were fantastic and full of wonderful information
One piece I remember well is the reunion of coronation street cast who were on a 'finding who you are programme) when they got introduced it was in that very building as one of them was from the area
It was a fantastic experience and you can take photos too (though they do ask you not to point the camera at the staff in the offices, but I think thats just common decency, I wouldn't want loads of people walking around outside my office workspace pointing cameras at me
Overall a fantastic experience (they get people from all over the world visiting which is pretty cool I think) We're hoping to go again soon (mainly because I was so fascinated with taking pics I missed so much of the info (though it's not a scripted tour and the tour guides just give any info that comes to mind, which I think is cool too)

Read moreBrilliant space to work. I booked the boardroom on the 3rd floor for my team meeting, then I also used the pods on the ground floor for some hot-desking individual work. The space is amazing, a beautiful old building with all the contemporary services required. It's inspirational and conducive to efficient collaborative or singular productivity. I will definitely be back and I have recommended it to other departments in my Manchester based company seeking alternative locations that aid creative thinking...outside of staid old office locations, or tired hotel conference meeting rooms. Costs extremely reasonable and parking super cheap too and plenty of it...£2 all day...bargain..... spend the rest at a slap up lunch at Lily's! It's all...
