The Naze is the clifftop area projecting out into the North Sea & thereafter into the no-man's-land of saltings & islets comprising Walton Backwaters. The general area is marked from miles away by the prominent Naze Tower, which can be seen from afar away as Harwich, Shotley Gate, & Felixstowe Docks, both on the Suffolk coast. The Naze offers 2 main walking options, the overgrown clifftop that carries on downhill into the Nature Reserve, or when the tide is out, the beach that can be followed as far north as Stone Point & the Walton Channel.

Did not know what to expect but found pleasant cliff top area with large (card pay) car park, two cafes, reasonably flat walks (but mind the cliff edge when looking at the old war time pill boxes now in the sea) and the Naze tower which must have a great view but looked a long climb. Bit of a trek to get there but worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great place for a walk and sharks teeth to find on the beaches… picnic benches and two cafes

Lovely walks.

Yet, it certainly could far lovelier.

Various plants and trees are needed between the beach and heavy traffic which really does spoil the area and whole experience. We are suppose to be garden lovers as well!

Very safe Railings are needed between pedestrian promenade, and sea.

Shops are just so dreary. Pretty vintage style shops particularly coffee/tea shops along, ice cream Parlours all with hanging baskets and containers filled sessional plants, and trees will certainly elevate the area.

Simple and obvious improvements will vastly improve the...
