I am highly annoyed with Polly's customer service. I accidentally grabbed a gallon of organic nonfat milk instead of organic full-fat milk for my daughter. I tried to take it back for a refund. The woman at customer service said they weren't taking returns at this time secondary to Covid-19. While inconvenient, I totally understand why the aren't taking returns right now. However, they were extremely unhelpful. I was on my way to work, and wouldn't be able to get the milk to a refrigerator anytime soon. I would've been happy if they would've offered to help me dispose of the milk. They just sat there blinking and staring at me like I, and the milk I was trying to take back, were diseased. I have worked in customer service from a young age, and saying no to the general public is never easy, but they should be ready to put a positive spin on it, i.e., "I:m sorry I can't take that back, but I can help you by taking it off your hands". Better yet, they should have a deal with a food pantry in the area to donate returned food. I'm sure I'm not the first one to try and return something in this Covid-19 era. I love Country Market, it’s my go to spot for groceries. But today was the worst experience I had there. One of your employees, Ethan, was unnecessarily rude and aggressive, not just to me, but other customers as well. We were having issues with the register and he’d huff and puff. He did help, but not without snipping at us each time. He kept the uncomfortably staring at my fiancé and I while we scanned our groceries. There was an older woman who needed help across from us and all she did was ask where she needed to put her card, and he angrily snapped at her saying “no no no no” getting louder each time. All she did was ask for help and it felt like she was getting reprimanded for it. I don’t like making reviews like this, but this behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional.
