Walgreens — Local services in Ahoskie

I have no idea why it takes Walgreens pharmacy so long to fill a perscription. I have had 3 instances where I had to keep calling back to get my perscription that was called in by my doctor early in the morning around 10 am and it would be late in the evening around 5 pm or the next day before I could get a medicine that I needed to take after a surgery for pain and infection. The medicine was not on back order or anything such as that. It was just plain out poor service. Now once again, my doctor has prescribed a heart medicine early on Friday morning. It was called in around 11 am and here it is Saturday morning and it still has not been filled. Plus the pharmacy will not open until Monday of next week. I can pick it up after 12 is all the recording says. This is just pain out poor service and unacceptable. Now, I am taxed with trying to get my perscription transfered to Walmart or some place that takes the health of patients serious. Who do you report this type of behavior to? I was in the store in Ahoskie,NC on July 4, 2024 Sarah waited on me and help me. I was having trouble getting some pictures off my phone so i can get them printed. We tried everything nothing would go as planned. SO FINALLY she told me to text them to her that didnt work either. She sat with me for a long time and told me not to cry because she knew how important those pictures meant to me The news good is we finally figured it out and got it done plus she even help me edit the pictures. If I could rate less than 1 star I would definitely negatives all around you can't get your prescriptions in a timely manner at all and that's with every visit considering I pick up refills every other week and no one can offer answers on why service is always extra slow. I'm currently waiting on a refill that was sent in 6 hours ago and lo and behold they are closed and my refill nonexistent so now my child has to spend the night with no meds I am definitely switching asap and regret my files ever being sent there...
