New China — Restaurant in Ahoskie

Always a pleasure to eat here. It's one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I've ever been in. They have a very impressive wall inside-to the right. That's their well deserved brag board. Please take time to read it and see what type of place YOU'RE working with! These people care about what goes into your belly! You want that in your life! It's important. And their sanitation rating is outstanding as well. They have healthy choices for the diet conscience, or health nuts like me. Then they can get down right funky with it if they have to & fix you up one heck of a palatable paradise of ALL sorts of gravies and sauces! The customer service is always friendly. Fast service. I actually was there today. Coldest day of the year thus far. I sat by the window and I was comfortable and warm while I enjoyed the peace and quiet, the view outside and my piping hot wonton-eggdrop soup. Most filling and so EXCELLENT. Please visit & take your whole family. They even have a super long table in the back for a large party. It's such a clean place. I like that. When I saw that the bathroom was just as clean I was thinking, "I think we got a winner here". Kudos guys! I'm impressed every time I visit...

I have to admit I was wary of eating at New China because I rarely saw cars parked in front of the restaurant and feared the food might not be fresh. The restaurant is mostly take-out, although there are a few tables inside for dining in. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan, which is my favorite oriental dish. I got the small size which is just right for me. It came is a generously-sized styrofoam covered container. The food was hot and delicious. The cost was a mere $5 which did not include a drink which I bought at Wendy's. I believe they also offer a large and a lunch-size. Foods good, just what you would expect from a take out Chinese spot. Main thing that makes the place stand out is the 2 meat combo. Really good bang for your buck.
