If I could give zero stars, I would. This Acme’s is the kind of place that manages to disappoint in every single category—customer service, cleanliness, product quality, and basic human decency. Acme’s is less a store and more a social experiment in how long a human being can endure pure misery before giving up. Walking in feels like entering a dystopian thrift shop run by people who actively hate customers.

The employees? Rude, dismissive, and act as though helping a paying customer is an outrageous inconvenience. Management? Either absent or so incompetent it makes you wonder how the lights are still on. The store itself is filthy—aisles cluttered, shelves dusty, and products that look like they’ve been sitting there since the Clinton administration. Half the items are expired, the other half are broken or missing parts, but hey, at least they’re overpriced! Nothing says “customer appreciation” like charging premium rates for junk you could find in a dumpster behind a dollar store. At least dumpsters don’t pretend to be respectable.

Stepping into Acme’s feels less like shopping and more like a punishment. You’ll leave with nothing you actually wanted, less money than you intended to spend, and a strong urge to shower.

If Acme’s was the last store on earth, I’d rather learn to live off the land than set foot in there again.

You don’t shop here—you survive here. And honestly, I wouldn’t wish the experience on my worst enemy.

I've been shopping Acme #18 my whole life! I believe I've seen the store move locations and be remodeled at least 4 or 5 times. Anyone who knows the store the way I do would agree Scott (bagger/stock boy) is one of the BEST thing about visiting this store!! I think his personal goal is to know all the customers and put a smile on everyone's face that walks through "his" stores doors! Then there is always something to spoil the good it seems like and I'm sad to say it's the management at this location currently!! Last night I was shopping and found a customer pasted out in the milk cooler (literally) it took the manager 8 minutes to arrive to this emergency situation. Then he spoke to me like I was bothering him with this. Even rolled his eyes at me! Meanwhile, I'm on the phone with 911 and the customer is coming in and out of reality and falls flat on her face! Paramedic and police arrive and the manager leaves the situation. I'll finish up my review by saying none of the employees new the manager name last night and the person who needed help got the help she needed and is ok! I also want to thank the couple other customers that stopped to see if they could...

So this place is a mixed back no matter what way you slice it . Some people like their grocery stores a certain way. As well as the staff that provide them service. Like I said it's a mixed bag and a revolving door for senior management. Albrecht's tend to neglect this store or maybe that's the problem. If you have happy staff ..... You will have what? And I don't work there . I've worked inside them for a bank over years and had the opportunity to see how an Acme should operate and what can be offered at a well tended and we'll mannered establishment that represents the brand Acme. The partnerships I developed over the years with Acme management and such give me a slight biased. However Bernar King would stop breathing if he walked into this location. Just saying.
