I ordered my wife a fall flower arrangement set inside of a wagon. I specifically ordered the arrangement with the wagon because I knew my wife would consider it cute and because the wagon looking box was a perfect bit of fall decor that could be used even after the flowers died. I ordered this arrangement a week in advance and on the day they were to be picked up I called in to make sure they were ready. I was told a noon pick up time. I received a call back a short time later stating that they actually did not have the wagon in stock would a pumpkin or box be ok. I explained I specifically wanted it for the sake of the wagon. The lady on the other line was very kind and offered to make a makeshift wagon. I accepted her offer and this at noon I picked it up. The results of the makeshift wagon were appreciated but were not up to par with expectations of my $50 purchase. Two wagon wheels fell off before I even got home. I greatly appreciate them trying but not quite there. I give them 2 stars for communicating with me before I actually picked it up and seeming to at least try to provide good customer service in that they attempted to fulfill the order. They still get a low score for failing to meet requirements after having had a weeks notice and for not offering any sort of discount for conciliatory measures.
UPDATE What was originally a 2 star review has definitely changed! Flowerama was quick to respond to my complaint (I however was not quick to edit this review, sorry!) They gave me a 50% refund on my order and told me they would call if/when they received in the original wagon the flowers were supposed to come in. Just got the call this afternoon that the wagon is in and what's more is they put a whole new flower arrangement into the wagon! Although the initial experience was a bit disappointing, the quick response, understanding, refund, and finally the call saying the have a wagon in for me to pick up all result in my desire to use Flowerama again...
Read moreMy husband and I have used Flowerama for three years. We have a fun, silly tradition regarding roses, the color, and the amount we buy. They always have a beautiful selection and their Blue Mountain card collection always has a perfect one in the mix! Yes, Acme is right down the road and it’s be more convenient to get flowers while grocery shopping. BUT these flowers last! They are fresh and very rarely do I see any browning on the edges. My mom ordered me flowers from a different florist and when they arrived, half the flowers were already wilting. I’ve never had this issue with Flowerama! The associates are helpful and fun to talk to. My husband and I love bringing them business not just because they’re the local flower shop, but because quality is what we’ve been delivered time and time again! I’ve overheard conversations from the staff to each other or other clients and they’re always respectful. When a loss brings someone through the door, they aren’t like other florists I’ve visited that try to push the biggest, most expensive product on you. They actually listen to your wants, needs, and price range and do so respectfully. I’ll never forget watching them help an older woman pick out a potted plant for a close friend who’d suffered a loss—the associate was very sweet and compassionate. I’m glad they’re only a few minutes down the road, but I’d honestly drive half an hour to receive the service and products they offer! And if you’re like my husband and I, buying flowers frequently, be sure to get a...
Read moreI ordered a boutonnière and wrist corsage for my grandson’s homecoming. I was very disappointed. The young man who waited on me didn’t give me a receipt for my purchase because I paid for the flowers in advance. When I looked at the finished corsage I said I can see why they are advertising for new designers from the way the corsage looked. There were 5 mini-roses in the corsage on a silver base, with a little strip of dead babies breathe and a small piece of plastic green on the plastic base. There was no real green anywhere else on the corsage. It also looked as if they just ripped the ribbon and put it on the base. I took it back first and asked if they could at least make the ribbon straight and then I asked if I could have some of the fresher babies breathe added to to the corsage. I told them I had looked at a silk flower at Acme and it only cost $25. I paid $40 for this. A man in the store told me that is what I get anywhere for $40. And I should have went there to get it. I told him next time I will. Then the box that flower was put in was bent which was bending the flower. She told me that is what they put flowers in. Then the man with the smart mouth gave her a larger container to put the flower in. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! The boutonnière didn’t look much better. A big rose with pink ribbon wrapped around the stem. I think I got ripped off by paying $59 for these two flowers. If I could give it no stars I...
