It was okay! The lady there was somewhat intimidating. It was my first time there. I hadn’t done dance in a while and was thinking about starting it again. I had gone, hoping to try some stuff out. I had gotten there close to closing time and when I went to quickly ask about some Dance Paws, the lady cut me off very quickly before I could even ask. I knew what my size would be, yet she wouldn’t hear me out. I was already very anxious as I have social anxiety and was nervous about not looking enough like a dancer and being judged. Even though she didn’t know that, her actions made me pretty upset, and I ended up not getting what I came for. I’m hoping next time I go, that I can advocate for myself more and that the service is better. But there is a wonderful selection of items and I wish I had more time to...

They fitted me for my first pair of adult pointe shoes. (It'd been nearly two decades since I last did pointe) They found me the perfect fit in a pair of Gaynor Mindens.

Unfortunately, after GM changed the satin on their shoes, I couldn't wear them anymore. I have difficult feet and hyperextended knees. Stage Center worked really hard to try to help me find another brand and model. One time, they indulged me for about an hour, trying on dozens of models of pointe shoes. I did buy pointe shoes, a few pairs actually, at different times. Unfortunately, none worked as well as the GMs, with me developing mild tendonitis. But this isn't Stage Center's fault. I was the one who okayed the shoes. They tried really hard for me.

Stage Center was phenomenal! My granddaughter had an appointment for her first pair of toe shoes. I never thought it would take so much time and effort to get my granddaughter's first pair. She tried on numerous pairs. I thought they all looked wonderful...UNTIL Heather, the lady who helped her, brought out another pair of toe shoes AND I got goosebumps! This pair fit Hannah like a glove. Look at the pictures! Heather spent at least a half hour with Hannah, making sure she had the perfect shoe. Heather certainly knows her job! Heather was very pleasant and personable! I'm sure Hannah will request Heather again when she needs her next pair! Friendly and organized and clean store. Many, many leotards...all sizes, cute accessories and I also saw tap shoes! Definitely a...
