El Malecon Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Akron

LET ME TELL YALL ABOUT THEM BIRRIA TACOS!!! 😩 I’ve only had them once before somewhere else and was not really satisfied with the quality from the other place. I keep hearing how good birria tacos are though, and decided maybe it wasn’t the type of taco that I didn’t like, but maybe they just weren’t made right by the other place. So I went to try them again today here at the El Malecon Mexican Grill and let me just say I am thanking God I decided to try these again. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat anything else besides birria tacos for the rest of my life .. delicious doesn’t even begin to describe these 😋 RUN DONT WALK and go get yourself some (birria is only available 2 days a week, Wednesday being one of them just to be clear) and you get alllll of this for just $12!!!! You really can’t beat good food...

So I was cravings for some Latino food and I found this place...❤️❤️❤️ definitely a Hidden Gem of Akron!! I feel like I'm back in Painesville or as I call it Little Mexico. The food is fantastic the tacos are made exactly how you would think very authentic and very satisfying. I am definitely going back over and over again... the girl that works there that took my order she made me feel inviting and comfortable like we knew each other. I give this place six stars if I could I love finding small Latino cuisines that make you crave...

Tonight was our first visit at El Malecon and we are HAPPY 😊 We are from California and are extremely picky about Mexican Food. I love that they used the yellow corn tortillas and used two of them with the street tacos plus it's like they were speaking my love language when I saw the grilled onions on the side of my tacos 😍 My husband even ordered more food to take home and I had my dad try their red salsa and he gave it 👍🏼👍🏼 Definitely keeping El Malecon on the top of our list of fav Mexican...
