Though I have had momos and curries before, this was my first Nepali meal. My word. What outstanding food. We ordered the "national soup of Nepal," pork momos, the goat curry, and the Paneer gheeu. It was obviously a large order, designed to let us taste everything and take the rest home. But I just could not stop eating whatever I got. We polished off the soup, which was a thin soup, beautifully seasoned. Then we went at the Momos... Perfect shells, not too hard, not too soft, and the pork within, juicy, flavorful, just right, delicious and retaining all the flavors of the meat. The hot garlic and chili sauce served with it packed a lot of heat but also a lot of flavor, so use sparingly at first. Having polished off the momos I was not sure I'd be able to eat much of the curries, but they had such unique and novel flavors that I had to take multiple servings. We'd heard stories about Nepali food at Akron, and drove forty minutes to come here. Worth it and how.

To start, the place does not look like much from the outside. It's not a fancy place. But the heavenly aromas circulating in the parking lot were making us drool before we even walked in. The food was epic. We had never had Nepali food before, and had nothing but extensive experience with Indian food and a quick Google search beforehand to go by. We loved it! From the moist and delicate chicken momo, to the chicken gheeu, goat curry, and lamb chow mein we left full and satisfied. Again, I repeat: this is not a fancy place. It's small, very homey, and it appeared that a large chunk of their clientele were of Nepali descent which is an excellent sign of quality if you are in search of traditional and tasty food. Would go back, 100%!

We used to love going here, but have stopped after the last two experiences with the new server. The new server is extremely rude to white people and the service has slowed down considerably since she has started here. It took us twenty minutes to get a menu, ten more minutes for a drink, she didn't know what water is so I had to ask several times. That took another few minutes, the food took another thirty minutes, followed by the appetizer (which should've been first), and the dessert and check took another thirty minutes. It used to be our favorite restaurant, but the service makes it unbearable and we would rather eat at the Indian food nearby. (We used to drive 35 minutes each way to get here).

I ate something that cost $9.75 at this restaurant but I had to pay $1.33 for tax (which is more than 10%). The Summit county sales tax is only 6.75% (5.75% OH state + 1% county). This restaurant is charging more tax than it needs to. This fraud behavior should be and WILL BE reported to the Ohio Department of Taxation.

Update: Because of their tax fraud, I decided not to tip the Nepali waiter. However, the waiter still decided to add $2 tip for herself (which I found out two days later on my credit card transactions). I disputed with the credit card company and I still got my money back from the credit card. These people know how to steal your money. My advice to you is - always double-check your bill and also your credit card transaction a few days later. Although the $2 tip and the $1.33 tax-fraud do not seem like a big amount, their acts of wrong-doing and stealing money are a bigger issue. A restaurant like this should not exist. They should be punished by not dining at...

Food is mediocre and customer service is honestly horrible!!!! My family and I always went here for food but now it’s just not somewhere we go. one night my mom & i decided to grab food from here. We decided to dine in and as they close at 9, we had gotten there around 8:20. I understand that we went in late but that doesn’t account for the rude behavior that was expressed towards us. The waitress assisting us had the rudest face on, as she didn’t really bother with us much. My mom being a really nice person was so mad with the way we had been treated clamied she would never go back there again. This happened a few months back and we haven’t stepped foot into the restaurant. I hope that they hire a better staff who know how customer service works and how they should treat their customers. If you’re looking to get bad customer service and oily food this is the...
