They had posted on their signs they were open till 7 but online the latest appointment was for 4:45 so I booked it through their app after calling at 6 only to hear a voicemail that says they don't answer the phones after 6. I used their app to try to book an appointment I never got any confirmation when I called after work to try to speak to someone (3:30 in the afternoon) no one answered the phone. When I arrived I waited outside since they were working on someone's hair the barber pretended I wasn't there for a good twenty minutes then when he noticed he said he could not take an appointment and to use the app after I told him I had already tried. I've looking for a go to barber for over a year now since I've moved back to the Bay and haven't found one I really liked until this place. The online scheduler was clutch and fit in my schedule. I picked Kay Jay because he was open at 5:30 on the same day and glad I did. He started by finding out exactly how I liked my hair and asked a lot of questions on what I liked and not liked.
