Food: Having visited twice, I found the food here to be a mixed experience. On my first visit, I tried the street tacos - carne asada and al pastor - accompanied by a generous bag of chips. The chips were a highlight, fresh and crispy, complemented by two salsas: a mild salsa verde and a spicier salsa roja, both served in convenient squeeze bottles. The street tacos, priced at $3.50 each, felt somewhat pricey given their small size. The carne asada was decent, while the al pastor, though generously sauced, was overly salty. My second visit was for the Baja-style fish tacos, which, at around $19-$20 for two, were notably expensive. The tacos came with guacamole, garlic aioli, and pico de gallo. Unfortunately, the pico de gallo and guacamole didn’t seem freshly made, impacting their quality. The fish itself was crispy and plentiful, but the overall experience didn’t justify the high price. Service: The service here is straightforward and efficient. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. There’s nothing particularly special or noteworthy about the service, but it gets the job done. Ambiance: The ambiance is typical of a casual, hole-in-the-wall taqueria. There are some seats inside with paper towels on the tables and additional seating outside, which is convenient for those with pets. It’s not a place you’d go for a fancy dining experience, but it serves its purpose well for a quick, casual meal. Overall: Overall, this taqueria is just okay. It’s not a place I’d highly recommend, but it’s a decent option if you’re in the area and craving tacos. The prices are more reasonable compared to other nearby Mexican restaurants, though some items can still feel overpriced for the quality offered. If you’re willing to spend a bit more for a possibly better experience, you might consider other options, but for a quick taco fix without venturing too far, this spot might be your best bet.

Came here for a takeout on Friday night. I put in my order at the counter and waited at the outdoor tables right in front for 5 minutes. One of the staff came outside and brought out my order! The two Agua Fresca -- watermelon and cantaloupe -- were made with fresh melons. So refreshing and delicious. The Carnitas Plato was made with fresh ingredients. The beans were cooked perfectly and the marinated braised pork was tendered and meaty. The tortillas were warm. The food here tastes really good. I'm going to try other dishes on their huge menu in the future for sure.

Second time I came to pick up lunch. First time I came for lunch, I tried the Green Chile plate which was fantastic. Good amount of Pork and Potatoes in a really tasty Green Chile and Tomatillo sauce. Beans tasted fresh, and the rice was good. Today I tried the Chicken Flautas with Tomatillo Sauce and Refried beans. All fantastic and well done. Very traditional, not "white washed". One of the better places I have had Mexican food in the Bay Area. Absolutely worth a try!

I ate here for the first time last night and the next morning I had a really bad case runs. Which makes me concerned about the food safety situation here. The restaurant is not clean at all first glance. They don’t have plastic utensils, they have silverware for you to use which was not thoroughly cleaned (greasy and with encrusted food bits) and the bin they keep these in is dusty and greasy. I also feel the manner in which they serve their salsa is not very sanitary either. They serve the salsa for the chips in large bottles. The outside of the bottles are greasy and the caps are encrusted with old salsa - they definitely do not clean the bottles here, it seems like they top of the salsa, not actually giving the bottles a thorough cleaning. The cleanliness and sanitation situation here is so poor and from the awful stomach ache I got from eating here I can only assume that either something is very off with the refrigeration and/ or they served me expired ingredients. There is no other explanation for the stomachache accompanied with the frequent bathroom trips. I do not recommend dining here unless you have medication of some sort to combat an upset stomach and not just Tums, a heavy hitter like Mylanta. What a waste of 15$ all to end up with essentially food poisoning. This establishment would be a very good candidate to be on the show Kitchen Nightmares -...
