The Little Ice Rink — Local services in Alameda

Don't go here. Go to Oakland Ice instead. This is an awful ice rink at an abusive price. Cost us $100 for 5, with only 2 skate rentals. The raised rink is way too small for the number of people they crowd onto it. About 1/4 the size of a normal rink. The ice is not maintained during the day. The rubber mats are the wrong type, so they are slippery like plastic. LOOK OUT GOING DOWN THE RAMP FROM THE ICE. And they will not get you to a bathroom. They only have one ice guard on duty and it is not a well behaved crowd. Expect careening kids, rough housing teens and basic thrashing about and the staff does NOTHING other than collect money and push their liability...
