The blue haired lady working here was completely delusional, rude, and lazy. I came here to let my son pick out a toy and when he changed his mind when we got to the counter she told him to “hand her the toy instead of putting it on the wrong display”. When he went to hand it to her she made a point to snatch it and huff to show her annoyance like a complete jerk. This was after she rudely said “I see you finally made a decision” because he was having a hard time deciding what he wanted.
When I confronted her about her attitude she whined about how it was going to take her 30 minutes to put stuff away that got set down on the incorrect display. As if that doesn’t happen all day, every day in literally any and every store on the planet.
Lady, you’re working in a toy store in the mall. Customers pick things up, put them down, change their mind etc. Especially when you’re dealing with children. When I patron a business, I don’t come there to hear employees complain about things that customers do that annoy them. This woman spent the entire time behind the counter, not greeting or offering any type of customer service to anyone that was in the store beyond ringing people up and then had the audacity to complain about having to put stuff away....
Read moreI went in a few weeks ago to pick up a calendar or two for some friends and it was an interesting experience. A mother and son had come in shortly after me and I had noticed that her son was moving around a lot of the products, leaving them in different locations or on the floor. His mother must not have noticed because when one of the employees had politely asked him to bring the items he didn’t want up to her instead so that she could put them away later his mother didn’t take that well.
When the little boy finally picked out a toy his mom laid into the employee and all I could see was professionalism. Most employees now a days would not handle that well, but she kept composure and explained why she had asked him to bring the items to her. His mom didn’t seem to understand but it was clear she was the only employee and I’m sure she would have to stay late to clean up the mess he was making.
When they had left she apologized to me for the display. She apologized.. to ME.. on behalf of another person.
I went in again today and talked with her again and bought a few more things. Learned her name was Val and will definitely be going back. She was super helpful and patient, definitely stood out to me and made my experience...
Read moreThis was the best find in all of the diamond mall, games, games and more games. Games for the whole family whatever they want, I love these stores because you can actually see the games and not just stare at a screen online and try to figure it out. Seeing various games made me purchase all kinds I would have not other wise. I was looking for a specific game and the staff was knowledgeable and knew exactly where it was. My only side note to make it better is to have a experiment table we’re kids or adults can try out various puzzles or games and also find a way to get most of the theory 11 playing cards sets . Unless I order the exact set online it’s like trying to find a Pokémon throughout anchorage superstores. I asked the salesman’s and he said they can only get a limited shipment...
