HardTimes Car audio — Local services in Albany

Went there to get an upgrade radio I purchased from Amazon and a yag cover backup camera. The owner stated he would call me if there's an issue with the installation of the camera or radio. I was called five hours later that my car was ready,nothing else. Got there and told me they would drive my car to the front after I paid. I was not advised of no issues until I came back in and stated the cover was not on the radio all the way, and the camera was showing upside down and showing scrambled. The owner called someone named Kelly out. He stated the radio wouldn't fit correctly, and the owner stated something about contacting the seller about the camera. I guess because I'm a woman, I didn't need to know anything, not fitting or functioning. Contacted the seller about the camera, they stated the trigger wire needed to be connected. I advised the owner (im assuming he's the owner) what the seller advised. The owner stated that the green trigger wire was not the issue. I asked him another question, and it's been 7 days, and he still has not responded. I took my car to someone else in Americus to get the issue corrected he stated the trigger wire (same as the seller stated )was not connected at all, the camera was placed upside down, the radio was placed in car upside down and they made a square hole in my bumper the size of a half dollar to thread the wire to my tag(hole did not needed to be that huge). Everything was corrected, and the backup camera is fixed. I paid Hardtimes for a botched job and another person to correct the issue. Women... make sure you take a man with you who knows about cars and what...

I had the opportunity to deal with Hard Times Car Audio in Albany GA. I must say that my expereince with this company has been surperb. The owner and staff are very courteous and professional. If they do not have what you are looking for they will have it available for you next day. I went to this establishment and had my system installed and was provided a year's warranty. Within a weeks time of the install the Amp started frying. I took my car back four times on different occasions to be corrected and the amp continued to malfunction! Initially I was pleased with the services but after the malfunctioning started occuring and persisted without resolve....... I have to unfortunately give this company 1 star! The problem is now solved but I would not recommend this business. Although different strokes for different folk, it just wasn't a good experience...
