Friendly, quality, efficient little meat shop.
I've had mostly good experience with this shop so far. Bought special order meats with relatively decent turn around time (haven't had a need to rush anything, so gave them time to order with other customers). Have also purchased from their fridges/freezers with decent success.
Buyer beware though, most meat purchased here doesn't have dates on it, and "outside" products might be VERY close to their expiration date (bad experience with some pasta salad expiring the day after purchase).
Besides that, everything has been healthy and flavorful. Highly recommend.

As soon as we walked in we were told we had to leave because we had a dog. We responded with "but she's a s..." And was abruptly interrupt with "not even service dogs, because you know, dogs and meat."    Read moreI bought a 1 and half pound tbone steak. It was fabulous. It has the strip steak on one side and the tenderloin on the other half. Their porks are wonderful too. The hamb buns are out of this world. The beef liver is succulent when coated with flour then pan fried. I can't say enough good about this gem in Albert Lea. We are lucky to have you in downtown Albert Lea. Please support this little meat shop. High quality equals higher prices. They are inexpensive. The tbones were 16.99 lb.
