Been here a couple times and I’m a bit confused. We ate here previously and the food was very good. The soft pretzel and the accompanying cheese was fantastic. We ate here today for lunch, and I swear I had a stroke, because the menu is the same but the food is completely different. Not sure if it’s the weekend crew vs lunch crew? My margherita flatbread was just kind of burned up, had pale pink tomatoes, and the mozzarella, while decent quality, wasn’t really melted because it was sitting right on top of those tomato slices. My wife got the pulled pork, it was a pretty fatty chunk, and she didn’t care for the cole slaw. The odd thing is she’s had the same thing before and it was previously great! I called this establishment at 4:05PM on May 5th. I called and first asked if they were open on Mothers Day, to which I was told yes. I then stated that I would have a party of 12 and wasn't sure if a reservation would be a good idea, to which my name, phone number and number of guests was given for 6pm Mothers Day evening. I was then asked if we 'would be ordering off of the menu', to which I replied yes all of us. Not only did I plan to drive to my mothers town of Alberta Lea from Iowa to treat her to what I expected to be a fine dining experience. Instead she was greeted, as it was raining and I was running late, with rude blunt employees stating that they had no such reservation and the kitchen was closed. Hah. I hate myself for writing this because Albert Lea doesn’t have a lot of restaurants but the food was not good at all. Wanted to order chicken wild soup, they were out of so ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap. Tiny little wrap and ranch was watered down, zero flavor or seasonings, chicken tasted like frozen chicken bites from the freezer section at Walmart. Ordered a side salad, which was served on a tray, no bowl or anything. Husband ordered the bacon and blue wrap, he said it tasted like old watered down meat with no taste. Neither of us finished our food. Waitress was wonderful, helpful, friendly. Atmosphere was nice and clean. Food came out in under 8 mins, which tells me they aren’t actually...
