DG Market — Local services in Albion

Isles are to small. 2 people and a cart at a time. Any more and your bumping, picking up end of cart to move aside.. a real inconvenience! Not ta mention the $1.50 fee I was charged for cash back from my card apon givin em already $257.00 for my purchases. When ya spend 250.00 + in one shot two or three times a month you'd think they'd not take anymore my money. It costs 1.50 ... that adds up as does the ATMs given ya only 200 at a time so you gotta pay for more transactions. So outta my 700. Monthly income it costs me 15.00. 15.00 that'll get me extra milk or bread.. lol but hey...

I was refused service at the Albion, Illinois location. I went in to get a few items and as I was walking to the checkout, the store manager said she was not checking me out and told me to leave. I asked her why and she wouldnt give me a reason. The more I asked the angrier she got and had another Dollar General employee call the cops. I have not done anything at this store and have been in there hundreds of times. I will not go back to this store or any other...

It is so nice knowing that there is a store nearby that has so many different things needed on a regular basis. I've been pleasantly surprised not only with the number of items that Dollar general sells, but also generally with the quality. granted the quality is often what you would expect at lower cost, but many times you are buying the actual brand...
