We discovered this quaint little coffee house during a recent family trip to Albion, Illinois researching our ancestry. When we arrived, the young lady barista and pastry chef extraordinaire was in the back baking pastries.
She served up the best Caffe Macchiato including the signature swirls. What an artist. Some locals showed up and we had the best conversation about Albion.
Our ancestors all grew up in nearby Ellery in the 1800’s so it was exciting to have coffee in the downtown area they likely traveled to albeit with horse and wagon.
