Albertsons Market — Local services in Albuquerque

I really loved this store until I went in on 3.12.2022 around 8 pm. While getting ready to check out I overhear two men saying the most disgusting, foul racist remarks and then laughing. I look up and it was the register clerk and closing manager together. Me and my wife walked up to the register and I told the man named "Noah" who was checking me out to please remove an item after a price check. The mngr. took my item and walked to the back while saying 4.99?? That sounds way too cheap. When he returns , he informs me that there is nothing priced for the product. No worries, we move forward. When our grocery total is given to us ,we pay with an EBT card for a student who lost his father recieving survivor benefits. Noah looks back at the register surprised and a judgemental look of disgust, tells us the cash balance. When we are done paying he hands us our receipt and didnt even have the courtesy to look at us!! His head turned away in an almost empty store,the man who was the closing manager laughing with Noah about the racist "joke" was standing there and said absolutely nothing. Hopefully these two aren't the norm in Albertsons because I love the selection that Albertsons has to offer. Their desert and bakery top notch . I never feel rushed when I go shopping here. I really love this store but will definitely shop...

Love this store! Prices are great if you shop the weekly ad and sign up for the rewards program. The bakery makes excellent cakes, the sushi is great, produce is the best here and this meat/seafood dept is the only place i will get meat from. This location has some very longtime employees that even worked at Albertsons 30 yrs ago when I was a child. There has been a lot of turnover in recent years but most have been friendly and efficient. My ONLY complaint is the restrooms. They are SO dilapidated compared to the rest of the store. The stalls are falling apart, it smells like sewage and almost every single time, there is a gross clogged toilet in the women's restroom. Please Albertson's, remodel the restrooms!!! It's yuck being in the nice store, then going to the nasty bathroom! Overall, this Albertson's location is my favorite grocery store. So many diverse and international choices, local products, fresh baked goods and beautiful produce! The floral department is also wonderful. Healthy plants, roses that smell like roses and beautiful...

I usually shop at a different Albertsons. But I was on my way home from work and stopped to get crab legs and crawfish. I wanted 1lb of crawfish, and they didn't have a whole pound. The man behind the meat/seafood counter tried to make it a pound by dumping all the broken legs and scraps. I could kind of see what he was doing, but he was trying to hide it. I opened the bag at the register before I scanned it, but it was hard to tell, and I didn't want to put my hand in the bag. When I got home, I dumped it in a bowl and was really upset.
