Champion Xpress Carwash — Local services in Albuquerque

I've never been to a Champion before, so today I decided to give it a shot. I pulled up and a manager named Gabrielle greeted me. I asked her what makes this car wash so special compared to the others, because there are a LOT of car washes popping up around town. Well, in about 15 seconds I was sold. I paid up, and she guided me around to the starting line. My car was drenched in a myriad of liquids, and let me just say that the car that went in is not the same car that came out. I haven't washed my car in at least six months, but this beauty looks better than when I drove it off the showroom floor. I don't know what kind of voodoo they have going on in that rain tunnel, but I wanna know who they sold their souls to get cars this clean in such a short amount of time. The colorful flashing lights were also a nice touch, and had me feeling like I was racing down Rainbow Road and dodging blue shells. My husband and I came here yesterday for the free car wash. We weren’t overly impressed with the quality of clean. Our tires still had dirt on them. But it cleaned the majority of the exterior. The person who wipes the drips off the car did leave the windows streaky. They were clear before they wiped. The vacuums are free and fine here. It was a fine experience for free.

Until my husband took his car and his mirror was broken in the wash, scraping his car and window. 😱 That happened Sunday. We were told we can hear back from corporate by Wednesday. They didn’t seem overly concerned. Which is crazy because my husband works on cars and his company promptly pays for any damages that occur in their lot. I don’t see us going back after that experience.

Update: It's been a few weeks since this incident, we have not heard from corporate. We have paid out of pocket to fix the mirror and the paint on my husband's door will be another...

First time customer at this newer location on 4th street. All I can say is that I am a forever customer. The manager really seemed to care about her customer and spoke highly about her team. You can really tell that they truly care about the service they provide and how satisfied the customers are. The manager helped me decide the best option for my vehicle. The person right as I enter the tunnel was all smiles and welcomed me and scrubbed my front bumper and windows which I thought was really nice. When I came out of the wash I am greeted by smiles of the manager and another worker to dry my windows. It was really great to see genuine customer service. I was vacuuming my car and the manager made sure I was satisfied with my car and asked me if I had mats I'm my vehicle and offered to wash and spray them down for me.
