New Mexico Piñon Coffee — Restaurant in Albuquerque

As a worker in the coffee industry for six years, this coffe house has went beyond my expectations. They offer the least acidic coffee I have ever tasted, and the flavor doesn't turn rancid within an hour. Not that I have ever had a coffee last that long through here. On top of an unbeatable product, I have been frequenting this location every day for a week in the mornings; with that being said, I haven't been able to find an unfriendly worker. I must admit, I have not tried any pastries but look forward to in the future.

As far as price, the brewed coffee is cheaper than Starbucks, and Lattes are around the same price depending on your extras. To add more, the energy boost seems more potent. Also, when you get a flavor. It is perfectly sweet for us long running coffee drinkers. But if you like it a tad sweeter as for it "with love"

They also have two dollar Tuesdays where you get a regular sized latte for only two bucks!

I was a regular customer at this location for a while because it was close to my work. One morning I ordered my usual cup of coffee and to my shock, I didn’t have my wallet on me. I said I could come back to pay on my break once I got my wallet. The girl at the front looked completely baffled and didn’t know what to do. A man walked up from the back and whispered something to her. She shrugged her shoulders and had to pour the coffee down the sink. This happens in life to everyone and a business should be able to tell if their regular customers are sincere or just scamming them - which is how I looked to him... Yes, it was a weird situation and my fault but by giving your customers the benefit of the doubt in these awkward situations, you keep them. They lost a few pennies for the price of the cup and maybe 7 cents worth of coffee but they lost me as a regular customer as I never felt I could go back there and never will, nor will I buy their...

I really enjoy Pinon coffee. My old office used to strictly use their coffee and it is very good. I had been meaning to stop by and try their coffee house ever since It opened and finally got a chance. We ordered the Biscochito latte freeze and a strawberry lemonade smoothie. Sadly I was not a fan. The taste was just too strong for me. I normally prefer my coffee drinks creamy and lightly sweet. Maybe someone who likes espresso and strong dark coffee would like this one but it is not for me. Maybe if it had more cream I might like it a little more. However, the overall flavor was not something I would really want to try again even with more cream. My son also was not the biggest fan of the smoothie either. For the price, I was hoping these would be much better.
