After shopping around and getting multiple estimates for my home theater in Santa Fe, it was very clear after talking with Seth on the phone that this was the guy for the job. He is incredibly knowledgeable, has great recommendations, explains every detail and justifies his equipment and hardware choices. The whole process from idea, design, installation, was very easy and enjoyable. Seth really listens to exactly what you want, works within your budget, and when it came time to do the install it was done very professionally, very clean, and the end results blew me away. Not only did Seth drive out multiple days for installation from ABQ, he also came back again in the evening after I had already been using my home theater for a few weeks to really dial in all the sound and picture, to make sure everything was top notch. I really appreciate the level of customer service provided at every touch point. One thing I really look for is communication and how responsive someone is. Seth was always available, always answered his phone, and provided tons of daily email updates to let me know exactly when to expect equipment to be shipped, keeping me in the loop the entire time. More importantly, the end result is amazing! I’m using my home theater every day basically and listening to my record collection with a whole new appreciation for the sound. Read moreI called Smartvolt av after visiting their web site and saw that they do flat screen installations. We then set the date to install both sets. This was in July. I already purchased both mounting brackets and two power outlet relocator kits and notified Smartvolt that I had this hardware. The first TV was mounted, and the relocation kit worked. Seth installed the 2nd TV but ran into difficulty because the relocation kit was missing some parts. We rescheduled the completion of the 2nd TV installation until I got a replacement kit. Upon receiving it, Seth came back and then ran into another problem very quickly stating that he needed a different type of relocation kit which he had to order because it would work better in that particular wall. I had to call him to find out if his relocation kit came in as I did not hear from him. We scheduled another appointment to finish this job. He was a no show. After a couple of weeks we rescheduled. He cancelled stating that he had a family emergency, I called many times after that leaving voice mail messages on his phone, but with no response. I emailed him, no response. I even emailed Smartvolt's customer service department. Nothing. I paid for a complete installation, but this job is not complete. What is complete is the absolute lack of response from Seth, who left me with a hole in the wall. Even after my most recent call I'm still being ignored. Read moreSeth started out doing a great job at my house and was always professional in replies. Unfortunately, there was still more work to complete and this is where Seth has seriously disappointed. I was originally told by Seth that he had a large job on his books and if I could be a bit patient it would take him about two weeks to get back out to wrap things up. Well, we are going on about 9 weeks now. and still no final on the project. The number one thing that is most disturbing is that in spite of my numerous attempts to get an update on scheduling I have not gotten a return call. At one point I did finally receive a text indicating that he would be out the following week on a particular day and he no showed with no communication as to why not.
