Midway 9 Theatre — Local services in Alexandria

We attended a later showing (8:50PM). My first time there. I purchased tickets online, and the check-in process was a bit confusing, but the staff were really nice and helpful.

The theater was fairly clean, there was still some junk on the floor from earlier shows, but overall, looked decent.

Seating was quite nice, but since I haven't been to a theater in over a decade, I don't have much to compare it to.

Prices seem crazy, but I'm sure it's standard for theaters, in just a cheap. Overall, for my wife and I, it was nearly $50 for tickets and treats. Id rather rent several movies or get DisneyPlus for a half year instead, but it was fun to get out to a theater on a special occasion.

A great place for a movie night! Kind of spendy, but it's definitely worth it! Powered reclining seats, man! (Though the buttons can be hard to find and seem backwards for raising and lowering.) Fresh popcorn, as it should be, along with other heated food, though those are microwaved. Not the best selection of candy. There's an arcade area just inside the entrance. The building is VERY wheelchair-friendly. Lots of theaters and they carry all the popular movies. Groups can also request special showings of less mainstream releases, like the recent "Left...

The movie wouldn’t start in theatre 5. we told them and supposedly someone was trying to start it. after waiting more than half an hour they told us we could go to another theatre and it would start in 45 minutes. We had to stand in a line to get tickets for the next movie. Several people asked them if they would comp them with popcorn for the movie not starting and having to wait for the next show and they refused. Very very poor...
