The atmosphere was very nice. While I didn't sit outdoors, the patio looked warm & cozy. Since I'm a former restaurant owner, I am not quick to judge imperfections as one doesn't know what has happened behind the scenes. That said, I found the menu limited for the type of restaurant & the interaction with my server was uncalled for & unacceptable. I ordered a mixed drink, one that I drink often. As soon as I sipped the drink, I knew it was not the brand alcohol I ordered. I quietly made this known to my server. I indicated mistakes happen & offered my drink to be replaced. She took the drink & without hesitation told me I was wrong & "this was the drink I ordered"!! While holding my drink in her hand, she said in front of the other 5 guests seated with me that " she didn't want to have the bartender make me another drink in case I didn't like that one either"!! The other guests were absolutely appalled at her statement & obvious annoyance. Since I was with others & celebrating a 19 year olds birthday, I just said it's ok...forget it..it's fine....I just drink it. If I had not been celebrating a birthday, & not wanting to ruin a nice night for the guest of honor so-to-speak, I would have quietly taken the drink to the bartender myself. In my mind, this server should be taken off the floor & schooled in basic social grace. She was rude & needs an attitude adjustment. Had it been left up to me, this server would not have gotten one penny for a tip. I always tip at least 20% & often much more as I understand how challenging serving can be. The public can be brutal so I side with the servers 99% of the time. I don't want this server to lose her job & I don't want her to have bad marks against her & I will go back to this restaurant, again. Just because I had a bad first-time there doesn't mean I won't try it again. To the managers: please train your wait-staff in the basic skills when confronted with opposition. We were traveling north, and this was an ideal stop for us. It came highly recommended from a friend where we could get exception food that fast food places cannot beat. Pike & Pint Grill offers a robust selection for individuals seeking options to explore hand-crafted food and regional craft beer.

Normally, I’m going for the Soup and Salad combo; theirs is $10.95 which is priced right. But how many places can you drop in for lunch and order a homemade soup that is this good? Not many! The Ahi Tuna Bibb Wraps are fantastic when you want a fresh, healthy, and great tasting appetizer. I ordered it for my lunch option.

“Juniper dusted Ahi Tuna” means well-seasoned to me. It comes perfectly seared rare with cucumber, avocado, in a tasty Sriracha-lime aioli and laid out on Bibb lettuce. It was easy to fold up the lettuce and eat as a wrap.

I find the $13.50 price for their exception Ahi Tuna Melt is worth the price. Grilled Vienna bread, stuffed with Ahi tuna salad and melted Gouda cheese. It comes served with french fries which have some peel on them and are seasoned really well. You can also get coleslaw or garlic mashed potatoes. The hamburger platter was excellent – I like that you can substitute Bison or Elk for your burger pattie.

It’s super that they also have a “Gluten-Free Menu” and a “Vegetarian Menu”. They have a large outdoor patio with a fireplace. It’s definitely a cut above most places. Very relaxing, spacious, and great ambience. There are multiple dining areas to choose from. Parking is ample; the own a wonderful lot since moving to this location. The service was great! 5/5 my bartender was amazing, Hannah and Matt, they both had great personalities and checked in regularly. Hannah was my bartender today and Matt was my bartender yesterday.

I sat down at 11:20 am ordered my drink and food quickly.

I was served water right away and the drink only took 3 minutes to make and my food was out in 10 minutes. I was one of the first so I would expect my food to come out quickly, but this was a little faster than I thought it would take. I rate the speed a 5/5.

They have plenty of specialty cocktails, I ordered the key lime 🍋‍🟩 drink and it was amazing! I ordered the lavender lemonade 🍋 yesterday and that was also great! I give the drinks a 5/5 for taste and creativity. I never see these drinks anywhere.

The food was great! I ordered 2 pasta dishes and they were both great! Freshly grated Parmesan makes all the difference! 5/5 for food. They have some of the best food in town!

As for uniqueness, design, and cleanliness of the restaurant I must also rate this a 5/5.

You can tell this place is managed well. Low wait time, friendly staff, clean environment, good food, etc. these are all signs to a place that hires well, keeps up the expectation, good communication with the kitchen, etc.
