I showed up at 10:30 on a Friday and Clara gave me the best haircut I've had for a long long time for a jaw dropping price! I went there the day before and the place was packed with customers (for good reason). I sat down and waited for a while and watched as customer after customer showed her the kind of haircut they wanted on their phones and she did not disappoint. I have short hair so she took her time and used scissors to trim around the lipoma (a fat deposit) I have in the back of my head. We had a disappointing experience at this salon. My son got a haircut and styles his hair with bangs over his forehead. After the initial cut, he noticed the bangs were uneven and politely asked if they could be adjusted. Unfortunately, the stylist’s response was unprofessional. The correction resulted in extremely short, blunt bangs that looked rushed and lacked care. I recently move to Alhambra and was looking for a place to get my haircut. At first I look for place with high review, which charge an average of $20 for cut and $5 extra if you make an appointment. That’s crazy to me and I thought that would be the norm. That mindset was prove wrong when I got my haircut at design haircuts. I got the same professional cut for half the cost. I would recommend Leeya, she have been there for 5yrs and have over 10+ years of experience.
