When I first went engagement ring shopping I choose Glatz because they appeared to be friendly and Tom Glatz is honestly a true craftsman. Long story short I purchased my Engagement Ring and Wedding Band there ($8,300.00) total. The wedding was canceled and the wedding band was bought and paid for but had not been delivered to Glatz yet. I asked for a refund on $1,500.00 band because it wasn't delivered nor was used in anyway. They gave me a offer of $700 dollars for a brand new ring, not pick up yet and never used. That was a straight slap in the face and not the way business is done. I later went into the store to see if they would buy the Engagement ring and Wedding band together as a set for a more significant cost just to ask... when Shelby had a very prompt rude tone and stated "We already made a offer on that" before I could even reach the counter. When I couldn't even explain I had the Engagement ring with me as well. My brother had a Engagement not workout as well but they gave him full price back on the Engagement ring because they said "I know this is a hard time for you right now". This was all around bad business however I can say in Tom Glatzs he was always a professional and very nice to me and my mother in the whole transition. Shelby honestly is not a nice person and does not deserve to be dealing with people on a daily basis. I will not buy anything from this business again and believe each one of you reading this should understand they do not stand behind...
Read moreI've know Tom and Marlene Glatz for years. I remember when they had a tiny, cramped store in a strip mall, and there was barely room to move, but there was always a great selection and, as always, great service.
Then, one day I saw that a restaurant chain store moved upstreet, and Tom and Marlene bought the building, made some renovations and moved into their new location. Excellent move! Now there was ample parking, and LOTS of space to move about for the customers, AND for the employees to have more than adequate work space in a well-lit, comfortable environment as well.
The Glatz's move put them from the middle of a tiny strip mall into a stand alone building on the main intersection in Aliquippa.

There are other 'fine' jewelers in town...but why would you want to go to them and pass up the BEST...Glatz Jewelers! If you don't buy from them...well, shame on you...
Read moreYou get a price then when it's time to get paid they change it and try to rip you off. I have never been so confused by a jeweler in my life. Deceptive business practices are a terrible thing to do. The gentlemen who was there acted like its normal to quote one price then change it., go somewhere where they are honest not sneaky and deceptive. And then mention if you give an honest review of their actions they will sue you for slander. Truth of reviews is not slander it's for other people to be aware of the actions of this business trying to pull a fast one on customers. They write down a price but do not honor it that's called deception. Stay away from Tom glatz and his business.... To your response your prices were 2 seperate prices listed not 1 price so that my friend is bait and switch!!' Just write 1 price for both products.... Not 2 prices then try and lump them together. Then throw a threat of s lawsuit at someone for bad business good luck it's my true opinion and truth hurts Tom... Dirty businesses should be exposed to help other sellers who may not look as close as I did and notice it before you could pull...
