I used to love bringing my dog to this place for her grooming, but I'm very saddened by how they bad mouthed her and by their greedy money grab. I paid for the Bath & Brush with Furminator and added on the Luxury Package. My dog is a husky, so my total was $104 without my usual 20% tip. When I brought her in Alejandro and another associate started bad mouthing her. They called her a dirty dog. I explained that she spent her weekend hiking in Big Bear. Alejandro said he was going to have to spend 15 minutes brushing her and that he needed to add $10 to my bill. I was confused and thought I had made a mistake and booked an appointment that didn't include brushing, which is the most important part of bath time for a husky so I agreed. It turns out I booked the proper bath package which already included 20mins of brushing, but Alejandro charged me for 15mins extra. My husky does not need or want to get brushed for 35mins. My husky was a little dusty from hiking in Big Bear, but I've brought her in for a bath in much dustier conditions and associates have been really kind and haven't tried to upcharge me. She's my adventure buddy, so she gets dusty sometimes. I also always add on the deluxe or luxury treatment because I know she needs the extra care. Read moreRecently bought a hamster, they gave me no info on the hamster, they didn't tell us he was already previously aggressive, they didn't tell us how old he was and that he would be hard to tame at that age. They also sold us the completely wrong hamster cage for our kind of hamster so we had to go back and get a new one. And yes we did indeed ask what cage he would need. We had to return him because he was too aggressive after we had tried to tame him for a couple days and yes we did wait the 3 day period before touching him. When we came in to return him the manager was super rude and got mad that we were returning open packages while I can understand that is frustrating, are we just not supposed to feed it, give it a home and give it bedding? They also told us if the package of bedding was more than halfway full they would give us a full refund. We called and made sure it was ok beforehand. When we got there the manager was throwing things aggressively on the floor when we were returning it because he was mad he couldn't sell it. I completely understand his frustration but it wasn't our fault they sold us an aggressive hamster and the wrong cage. Read moreI buy so much of my pets food, clothes, treats, toys here. I always am happy to drive out of my way to come to this store. But today I encountered the rudest people. I've never seen them. The guy working there was not friendly at all and was giving me issues with getting my cat of 20 years old his prescription food. When we asked to speak the manager, who made us wait for 10 min because she was on the phone. When she walked up to us, she was like a robot and just telling us that she wasn't a pharmacist and FDA regulations blah blah blah. Im not asking for prescription medication just the food I have always bought for my cat. Apparently she can't read the prescription I had from the doctor which is written in clear English. When I asked her for her name she said Rebecca and I could report her to corporate. She basically laughed at me and didn't care that my cat didn't have any food. She sarcastically told me to have a nice day when she saw I was stressed out about my cat not having any food. Rebecca is rude and condescending and I don't recommend coming to this store.
