For the most part, this is a pretty nice place, but be warned. The price of food here can get pretty unreasonable and crazy. On our most recent visit, we ordered a plate of nachos. $14 for a plate of nachos is high, but not ridiculous. However, when asked if we wanted chicken or steak, we said chicken. When asked if we wanted guacamole and sour cream, we said yes. And that’s where things went wrong. The chicken added an additional nine dollars to the cost for what amounted to half a cup of chicken sprinkled over the top. The guacamole came in a very small dish with only two or three tablespoons, and added four dollars to the cost. The same with the sour cream, which was just a spoonful,, and added another dollar. In total, a few toppings, which seem like normal toppings for nachos doubled the price of an already expensive snack. Then you add the 20% tip and tax, $36 for a plate of chips with a few meager toppings on the side? I’m just saying, be careful what you order here. The waitress gave no indication that these options would double the price, and unless you decide to bring the menu up on your phone, you probably wouldn’t know how much anything costs, so I strongly...
Read moreSat at the bar on a football Sunday figuring we’d get the best service there; NOPE. The female bartender wasn’t very warm as she greeted us and gave us menus; her male colleague came by shortly thereafter to take our drink order. She came back by and took our brunch orders: brisket Benedict and avocado toast with a side of turkey bacon. When the food was delivered we received the brisket Benedit, an order of regular bacon, an order of turkey bacon ... no avocado toast! Long and short of it, even though she knew exactly what we ordered, it wasn’t correct on the check. There was no communication as to if they placed a new order as a rush, or even an apology for the mixup, so we finally asked if my toast would be coming soon, which prompted her to finally go check the line. Neither bartender ever asked if my friend’s meal was satisfactory or if we needed anything else; we actually had to get their attention to order another round of drinks. This two-star review is primary for the service/lack of communication, the...
Read moreUnprofessional and distracted employees. We've had visits where we've been charged for items incorrectly and they tried to argue with us about it afterwards before realizing their mistake. This afternoon we asked nicely if dogs are allowed in the outside patio even though it's never been an issue and the hostess said yes. We sat and waited about 15 minutes before anyone came by to help us even though it was mainly empty. Our 12 lb poodle came to smell her and we pulled him back immediately. Afterwards she left so we can decide on our drinks. When she turned away he gave one bark and she rudely threatened to stop serving us. She also sent a male of staff over to our table to check us out but he made no direct comments. How can a restaurant claim to be dog friendly and employ a server who isn't 🤔 They have a great location but don't seem to be making the best of it by making us uncomfortable every time we visit. Apparently your dog barking is enough to refuse you service at a bar 👎 Don't waste your time with...
