I waited and waited and they finally was open in Aliso so I went with my sisters today. I do really want to support them cuz it's hard to survive in Aliso Viejo and they are my fellow Koreans but oh well I have to say that this place needs a major help. The owner was there and it's their soft opening then they should at least try to listen to the customers.l but she never even asked how everything was.
Their serving size is small and doesn't look enough on such a large plate. We need more bulgogi and kansu than this. I'd rather pay more and get more. If you are on a diet then this may be OK. Spicy cabbage has toi much of sesame oil flavor, and none of us liked it. Yellow raddish they serve had weird apple vinegar flavor. Their server kept coming to our table while we were eating and told us to ask for the check but there was nobody waiting for our table. We felt like he wanted us to be done ASAP and leave. The owner seemed unhappy to work there or she was too tired? Lastly, I never had this bad tasting ttukboki. It had no flavor shockingly. They definitely need to work on ulit.
Sorry but I won't be...
Read moreMy husband and I come here at least once a month, and it’s become one of our absolute favorites in Aliso Viejo. The food is consistently amazing, and the owners are genuinely the kindest people. You can tell they care deeply about what they serve.
I usually order the bulgogi bowl or the donkasu bowl, and both are always cooked to perfection - hot, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. The shrimp tempura and dumplings are also must-tries; they’re light, crispy, and packed with flavor.
Last time, my husband ordered the Tteok-Bokki and it was delicious. Perfectly chewy rice cakes with a rich, savory sauce. We also tried their new homemade matcha ice cream and oh my goodness… it’s unbelievably creamy, balanced, and not too sweet. You can taste the quality in every bite.
