I have had multiple items upholstered from David and he continues to amaze! It’s not easy finding an upholsterer in north Texas and at a reasonable rate. His pricing is far for the high quality of work you receive back. The last project we just picked up from home based shop was an ottoman that was frumpy and torn up, dog in question is in the photo. It turned out great and is very sturdy and the fabric strength should hold up to wear and tear. We also got a large custom cushion made for a triangular shaped reading nook and the process of working with David on the cushion was seamless. I made a cardboard template and gave him the dimensions, we visited his shop in Allen to pick out the material from tons of swatches. David replied back to me immediately after I sent him a picture of the broken bracket that holds the spring on my chair (Friday) and quoted me an estimate the same day. I took my chair in today and literally got a text saying my chair was ready for pick up a few hours later. I was so ecstatic! (I noticed there was a review someone wrote in regards to how long it took to get a reply back from him. He can get busy. But trust me when I tell you he is worth the wait! After searching the internet for an upholstery shop that could cover my motorcycle sissy pad I found David at Freedom Upholstery. We exchanged contact info and I sent him a few pics. He was quick to respond, honest, fair, and exceeded my expectations from his quality of his work and honoring his word. All very rare qualities in todays day and age! Admittedly this was a small project and really not worth someone’s time or attention. Other upholstery shops said they could get to me in 3 weeks or so. David said that he would squeeze me in and get the job done in a week. He got the job done in less than 24 hours!
