Trompitoz Taqueria — Restaurant in Allen

I have been going to the Princeton location for years now and have always experienced excellent care and service. The owner is extremely friendly and always recognizes us when we walk in. My order has never been wrong and I’m sure if there was a mistake there’d be an apology offered which is the bare minimum amount of accountability. My wife wanted to try the Allen location today since she was the in the area and after waiting 30+ minutes for her order she received the wrong menu item. I simply wanted to call and ask if there was a mixup or why this ended up being the case but the girl who picked up the phone immediately told me she took the order and that my wife was lying about what she had ordered. Instead of apologizing she simply said I could come back and swap the order out but refused to admit this was a mistake on her end. We don’t live nearby so it’s not like I wanted the food swapped I just wanted an apology and maybe find out if there was a mixup. I've been going to their Princeton location for years now, So I wanted to try their new location today to see if they still had the same good quality. And let me tell you they did not disappoint! This family run restaurant has not only good food but the best most friendly service! Every time I come in they always treat my friends and I so kindly, and their food is absolutely to die for! I recommend their quesabirria tacos or if you want something spicy their birria ramen!! But to be honest you can't go wrong with anything on their menu! Opening day service and food were amazing! The gentleman behind the counter was so patient with us as we asked him questions about the food they serve. We were waiting for family to text us their orders, and while we waited he continued to check in on us and answer any other questions we had. We got home and ate our food and everything was delicious. I ordered a gordita which was super crispy! I have not had a gordita that good in several years. So happy we have an authentic taqueria closer to my home! My family and I will be going back soon and bringing even more...
