Kroger — Local services in Allen

Like others, if I could give this place a negative rating I would. I have gone to Kroger a few times. Most of the employees are nice except for one. JOSEPHINE The belt that is supposed to take the food to the bagging side was not working properly, and ended up returning all my food to the front. Josephine rushes over without me asking her to and starts talking to me like I'm a child. She tells me that I have to scan the items 'one at a time'. I try telling her that I WAS scanning the items, 'one at a time', however the belt brought everything back to the scanning side. She completely ignores me and continues to check if I scanned all the items. I tell her she needs to learn how to talk to the customers and she completely ignores me, and says. 'Ok, its all good now'. Well it was all good before! I could have taken care of it. I told another lady who said she was her boss of how rude Josephine was. She just walked away without any apology. I've read all the bad reviews about Josephine and how rude she is, and yet she is still working there. ...

Let me just give a shout out to Zach who works the night shift. I always shop from 10pm - 12am due to the fact it's not as busy, and the majority of that time the shelves are being restocked. Often I've had stock members reach over and around me to continue stocking without anyone saying excuse me or asking if I needed some help. Tonight I needed an item in the area he was working and he was so nice to ask if I needed help, he apologized as if he was in my way (which he was not). Also, tonight I was looking for a hard-to-find item that sells out (since Covid) just as soon as it comes in. He said if I could be patient, a truck full of merchandise had just arrived and he would let me know if that particular item was part of the shipment. Sure enough the item was, and I was super grateful for the great customer service that Zach gave. It's a big deal to customers when employees are kind and go above & beyond. I have been mostly happy with the Kroger pharmacy until today. I walked in with a handwritten prescription from my doctor and they would not take it and told me it was Illegitimate. It was written on a watermarked notepad sheet with my doctors office letterhead, but they said it needed to be some red stamp. When I argued and asked them to call my doctor, they refused. So then I called my doctor. When I tried to hand the elderly woman there my phone to speak with them she just yelled in the phone saying we’re not taking your prescription and was very nasty about it I told her that I have been buying my prescriptions there for a long time and maybe I should find a new place to get my prescriptions and she replied, “well maybe you should” again very nasty. I took my prescription down the street to Walmart and they filled the prescription. No problem. If they can’t recognize a legitimate prescription, then should we really be trusting them to fill the prescriptions?...
