Dollar General — Local services in Almont Township

Last night I went into the Almont Dollar General store and there was only one person in there. I was there for few minutes and all these customers kept coming in. When I was there, I was surprised to see most of the shelves were stocked, no full carts of merchandise on the floor like most of the time, floors were cleaned, and more. I was surprised to see they got people who care about the place. Also, one of the employees who worked there who was a really good person was let go because of something that happened and it could have happened to anybody if you work in retail. I think the company should give this person another try at Dollar General. How did this person know that is was going to happen. Nobody does know or if it does happen because we are all not perfect. Also when we were there there was two young guys there and they were very helpful. These two guys are there most of the time. The one with the long hair is very nice and helpful should be Assistant Manager to the Almont Dollar General store and the other guy should be Key Holder. These guys work very hard when every time we come to the store. I think Dollar General should make these guys these positions right away because hard working people are hard to come by. If I could give no stars I would! Said you had 4 pump sprayer in stock so I went there instead of imlay city! Never will again cashier was very rude. Said they probaly packed them away because they are seasonal. Called Imlay City store. She went to back to get me 1. Online Said they only had 1 that's why I went to Almont. DG in Almont...where to begin. Product everywhere. You can't walk through the store w/out having to move their carts out of the way. Employees are talking ALL the time. Store Mgr Ashley should NOT be the Mgr. Rude to customers, vendors & simply on how she is presenting the store. The former Mgr Matt boy he knew how to get things done. I simply dread if I need to go into this store. Maybe the DM & RM need to visit this store & see what everyone...
