Wandering Stones — Local services in Alpine

Saw an add for their $2.00 sale on Facebook and was skeptical - I usually don’t trust pop up adds, especially when they offer discounts. Buttt I’ve been looking around for online crystal shops for a while and was in need of a few things so I hopped online and did some research. I saw that Luck Elephant Bazaar opened up just this year (a tinge sketchy) and I was like “nah” but something told me to keep looking and I was pleased to find a physical address I could easy see on google maps wasn’t some desert warehouse, and a few social media pages. With that and my desperation I decided “What the heck, with everything being $2.00 I won’t be out too much if this is a scam 🤷‍♀️“ So I placed and order and Oh My! I’m so happy I did. To my surprise I received a prompt confirmation email which awesome. I was then directed to an app called Shop-ex Arrive that allowed me to track my order in real time! A true blessing! My order was in my mailbox in a weeks time! Pretty cool 😎 and the crystals are as pictured and seem to be authentic RE the cuts, structure, density and temp which is also PRETTY DARN COOL. This is a great place to find a wonderful array of stones both tumbled and raw, tiny and massive, $ pennies up to hundreds $$$. Displayed in an artistic and user-friendly manner. Very friendly and helpful staff they could use a bit more training on identifying the stones. (The articles are clearly labeled , price and qualities along with the stone identifcation is on each display.) While examination of my receipt I found several errors on the stones I selected vs. the ones that were on my receipt . The clerk tired to change me over $220.00 for a peach quartzite that was only $2 00 and I didn't have any of 3 different varieties in my bag , however they are on my receipt. I loved the experience of shopping here, but must caution all of you to be very aware of what is in your basket. Also opt for a hard copy of your reciept. I paid more than double what I should have on several items. I live 4 hours away from the store and made this Road Trip just to go see this place. There are so may reasons I love Wandering Stones. SO. MANY.

The creative displays on wooden barrels throughout the store are mini works of art, showcasing various crystals, tumbled stones, pearls, etc. I love the mixed use of both tumbled and natural stones, as well as the color themes of each mini display. Some displays feature spheres, wands or towers; others show the crystals in their unaltered, original beauty. Whatever your preferences, untouched original beauty, or polished and shaped, you'll find it.

I really enjoy the decor, lighting and atmosphere of this store, it's an amazing experience in itself, even without buying anything.

I've been amazed at the generosity of the mystery bags, sales and raffled items. I find myself desperately wanting to support this business in all the ways I can (and not just monetarily), because the feeling I get from this store is that it is more than a business, it exists and is a testament to a number of committed people who love what they do and are sharing that love with the world.
