Snoasis Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Alpine

I wanted to like it. Great location and atmosphere. Friendly people that works there. However, as others noted, extremely slow. It appears to be built efficiently but either the machines make it difficult or there needs to be more training. Also, it might be an issue with the styrofoam cups they use, but all three of us in our group would go an inch down and the syrup was gone, luckily they provide more if you ask, but we had to do that two more times. Awesome snow cones, perfect for chill dates and hanging out with your friends, but do expect a long line. It's pretty much the only shack for all of Alpine, Cedar Hills, and Highland, so it's always very busy. Especially around one o'clock to 3 o'clock, right after the high schools and junior highs get out. It's also very slow when it gets busy, they get clogged up with orders in there. The snow cones are okay. There is a hype about this place in Alpine, but it’s because we don’t have anything else. There are plenty of better options outside of Alpine. During the summer, prepare to wait in massively long lines, especially right after high school and middle school get out in the Spring.
