Dollar General — Local services in Alton

First time coming in this store. It's amazing. I have a dollar general literally across the street they don't have anything and they don't allow substitutions plus they have rude management. Came to this store and they are the most friendliest people. We came to pick up an online order but they didn't have one item and they said we can substitute with a similar priced item. I was surprised because other Dollar General cancels our order if one item is missing. After we picked up our order we stayed to shop. Highly...

They need to work on customer service, you may ask why cause there was a problem with one of the customers, that customer needed a product from the top shelf and he asked for help and the cashier answers can you wait until I finish with the line so the customer instead of getting the product...

CLOSING HOURS SAY TILL 9:PM...FRONT DOORS GET LOCKED WAY EARLIER THAN THAT... THE CLERK THEN GOES TO HER CAR UNTIL 9:PM OR SO ... AFTERWARDS, GETS OUT OF HER CAR, GOES INSIDE STORE, TURNS OFF LIGHTS, LOCKS UP AND LEAVES.... I'VE WITNESSED THIS TWICE ... "PATHETIC"...NO SUPERVISION...
