Taqueria Don Felipe — Restaurant in Alton

Omg you guys the baked potatos with meat are humongous! They seem like they're the size of a melon. My baked potato was delicious and I definitely recommend it. I went thru the drive thru which was convenient. They were kind at the window which is awesome. It took the typical wait time to get my food but it seemed pretty quick to me. I wanted to try a new place and stopped here. I was skeptical at first by seeing the way the menu looked but I still tried it and it didn't disappoint. I ordered tacos de bisteck, and they were good too. The beans are awesome too! I will definitely be coming back to this...

The food was not good the past 2 times I have eaten here. The orders were missing all the fixings, cilantro, onions, limes and I drove all the way home to find that out was not fun. Both papas with fajita I ordered tasted like they had pieces of glass or tiny crunchy cracking things inside them. We gave up and threw them in the trash. I keep trying to give this places chances after always being so good for several years but it is not the same anymore....

I'm sorry but this place is not as it used to be. I grew up going to the one by La Homa and 5mi line. Now it is disappointing, the place was infested with flies and roaches. The roaches were on the table, someone was killing flies while customers were eating. After swatting them they wouldn't clean the table of them. Food didn't have any flavor anymore, plus the price we paid there I could of gone to a better restaurant. I'm sorry...
