Was recently treated do wrong due to my car being damaged in there car wash in WV then on top of it the manager brought a so called âMechanicâ out to the car wash noticed the damage and then began pulling parts of my vehicle off now they refuse to fix my vehicle so I will be filing a civil suit my car was just inspected to be put on the road 5 days prior and it went straight thru inspection nothing was wrong with my vehicle and furthermore I filled up with gas and purchased the car wash at the pump where you can clearly see by the cameras my car had no damage to the front end i proceeded to car wash and then the damage happened my daughter and I called the store to advise the manager I never moved my car my daughter and I just began taking pictures of everything! then mr so called mechanic came out and began doing what he wanted the manager kept apologizing clearly stating she was so sorry and things like this happen! I was given a number to contact corporate which took days to get in contact with someone i was assigned an adjustor and i sent her pictures of everything during this time i contacted my insurance but they said that sheetz was clearly at fault the adjustor told me to get 2 reputable quoted in which I went and got 5 quotes $35000 worth of damages but before i could send her the quotes she emails me and says where denying your claim and tried to say I lied and told her manager i just got a new bumber last week which i clearly never said i told them i got it inspected and put on the road almost a week ago which is a big difference between what she was trying to say, I said and then she sends me a message back that states go pick your bumper up at our store itâs waiting for you, like what sheâs trying to be funny about it because this is not a funny situation it shouldâve never been tore off as well as all the other pieces he tore off which caused even more damage to my vehicle and I clearly got pictures of the so-called mechanic, tearing the stuff off of my vehicle. As much as I go to sheets due to how they treated me during the situation, I will NEVER GO TO SHEETZ again! And I have definitely let my friends and family know, and they will no longer go to sheetz anymore either! On top of all this, it was my daughterâs...

From the horror stories I have heard about their gasoline, which I cannot say if true or not, I just know my pickup seems to run better on gasoline from Rutterâs, Martinis, and other places. They now want to track every purchase you make. Not to mention getting help from an employee is hard. They raise their prices then expect you to check yourself out. This is not about keeping their prices low but about keeping their profits high. You cannot buy anything anymore from this store without paying higher prices or having a members card so that they may track every purchase you make. Rutterâs has a membership card yet I never had to use one to get the same price as any other customer. I used to be proud to say I came from the same city Sheetz was started in, now I hang my head in shame. I mean can you imagine giving you hard earned money to a place that is as disloyal as this. I was about to purchase two bottles of soda for $4.00 as their advertisement said but when they rung it up they wanted to charge me almost $6.00. I left and that is the last time I will visit a Sheetz. I may only be one person but Iâm one person who will never visit or give business to another Sheetz. Thank goodness for Rutterâs. Better food, better service, and better prices. I can buy two quality pretzels for the price of one rubber tasting pretzel at Sheetz, I can get any discount they offer without the need for them to track my purchases. They have cleaner bathrooms and better food choices, not to mention their food tastes much better. Unfortunately there are not as many Rutterâs in this area as there are Sheetz but even if I must drive the extra miles, Rutterâs is where I will be doing my shopping from now on. Unfortunately the real Sheetz is dead and gone. Now itâs replaced with a money hungry corporation. What a...
Read moreFirst and foremost, go back to your OG coffee machines PLEASE!! The digital machines with fresh ground beans are not worth the hype. I put up with them when you had the monthly coffee subscription, but now you're not offering any value on the coffee side. Also, I'm leaving this review on the corporate listing because almost all our locations locally have gone downhill in the past several years. Being located in Altoona, PA, we have "a Sheetz on every corner" and it was all the buzz when the "Super Sheetz" was built on 17th Street just off I99. Many of my friends and family have worked for Sheetz in various capacities, and my mom and aunts went to school with the founding family members so I feel safe saying this company started strong as a beloved local landmark and has deteriorated into a soulless corporate shell of what it once was. You grew too big too fast and only cared about profits as the next generation of family members took over. It's a shame and those of us who watched the stores change are not impressed. Sheetz has definitely chosen to focus on quantity over quality and it shows with every new, gimmicky product you offer and every time you open locations farther and farther away from central PA. Many employees I know are not happy with their jobs unless they're part of the 'upper-level coporate' clique - I guess Mel Brooks was right, "it's good to be the king" - unfortunately it doesn't work out quite as well for everyone else. It's just sad that everyone I talk to now cheers for a new Rutters or Wawa to enter the market because Sheetz has become so complacent. Your recent marketing has really been missing the mark as well in my opinion, at least in this part of the state, but maybe your roots don't matter as much to you anymore as you have your sights clearly focused on somewhere closer...
