Moore’s Venture Foods — Local services in Alva

This is a small-town market which I hope sticks around for generations to come. Certain prices can be uncomfortably high, but it's worth it for the selection, and support of a local business. I think they need our help as a community, to keep them operating. They have a bakery and deli area (not even the local Walmart sells fresh donuts each morning, or custom designed cakes!) with plenty of selection, and daily lunch specials. Their meat department is very accommodating, and even the frozen foods section has a ton of choices you can't find anywhere else. I hope the community can continue to support Alva's Market. The Market could not be any better for Alva. It has a large enough selection to be surprising,,,better than any other grocery place in the Alva area. The fresh produce is stunning in choices and in quality. Parking is not only close to the store and free, but someone will HELP YOU OUT with your groceries, for free. ... There is a deli inside the store. With the best biscuits & gravy, almost every morning. Fresh dough-nuts and other pastry are also available. I think they even offer a phone-in your list and get...

Normally I get good service. The last two days the older lady working in the deli can't get my order right. First thing I have been in the food industry and you DO NOT mix old product with requested a fresh pound of nuggets. The new tasted good the old were crap and like rubber. The second was today I asked for a cherry desert and got orange fluff. YUCK! I hope they straighten this out. I hate shopping...
