Let me start this by saying that I have written tons of reviews, and this is only my 2nd 1-Star Review. So that right there ought to tell you something. I am a fair person and I understand that sometimes things don't go the way they should, but this place just was ridiculous and I can't honestly give it anything more than the 1-Star. I just can't.
They desperately need to hire more employees and work on their customer service. We waited in line so long to buy tickets to our movie, we ended up being late. And we got there early because I am one of those people who loves watching movie previews at the movies, so I was pretty upset. And when we did FINALLY get to the front of the line, the service sucked. No apology for the 15-20 min wait, no sense of urgency whatsoever from the guy who rung us up, or for the lady working the only other open register. These were the only 2 registers opens for concessions and tickets both, so to buy movie tickets you have to wait behind large groups of people ordering tons of food, served by slow-motion employees who couldn't care less whether or not you make it to your movie on time.
I'd skip visiting this location, unless you like crappy service and missing the beginning of a movie you showed up early for and paid good money to see. I should also mention this was at 2 o'clock on a Sunday... Not a super busy time for them, they just couldn't be bothered to hustle and the way they have their purchasing system set up sucks.
If anyone from this location is actually reading this you guys seriously need to step up your game. You need to hire more employees and/or make a separate line for ticket sales and concessions so you don't end up with pissed off customers and people standing around waiting for 20 mins just to buy movie tickets. You had 2 registers open, make one for ticket sales only and this whole thing could have been avoided and you wouldn't have lost customers. I saw the looks on other people's faces, we weren't the only ones who were less than satisfied with the service we received. And tell your employees a smile, and a sense of urgency when people have been standing around waiting for long periods of time will go a long way at avoiding having customers be upset. The part that made me the most angry was that I know they knew we had been standing there forever, but there was no acknowledgement of that fact, no apology, no hustle, NOTHING. Just a bored "what...
Read moreFirst time here, for the assanine amount of money I paid for nachos and a regular drink (17 bucks) they couldnt even dump the chips out of the bag, I could have BOUGHT that same bag for 3 bucks at a dollar store. Came with one tiny little nacho cheese, and like 4 jalapeño slices.
But honestly I’m used to theaters jacking up the prices for food so that isn’t that much of a surprise, what really killed my experience and will make me never go here again it’s upon seeing the Minecraft movie. Two boys ran out of the theater to go get food shortly after I’d say about five minutes security came in and escorted their entire group out of the theater. I get being a disruption and being kicked out but two boys out of their group made a mistake and if you want me to be completely honest, the movie hadn’t even started yet it wasn’t that big of a mistake.
I understand that teens will be teens, but they are still paying customers and as much as you guys are charging for them, a warning could’ve been issued. It was honestly disgusting behavior, and I will never be going back to the theater because of it.
Edit: Im now reading the reviews from the boys that ended up being kicked out, and even more grossed out. Tell your security to keep their hands to themselves, and off literal children. You better hope they were over 18 is all I have to say. Again, issue warnings in the future as that “group” wasn’t even all together. You just grouped a bunch of teens together, wouldnt let them explain, and then got physical.
I have saved their reviews and will continue to post them if I see them, or mine, taken down. Then It will be taken to the better buisness bureau if it CONTINUES to be ignored and deleted.
This is gross, you have lost 3 customers alone from my trip. I will actively suggest against your theatre, I will actively avoid your theatre, I will actively never suggest it for our customers that feed into our resort daily asking for things to do.
Do better. Because I KNOW reaching out to offer refunds is not something your money hungry abusive little theatre will even entertain the...
Read moreAs a local to this community, I am sad to have to write this review: I was very discouraged, not one time but now 2 Different visits to this theater. We work hard all day long and we planned to attend the later evening movie. On July 8, 2025 at 8 PM Jurassic Park world. We got our tickets got our popcorn. Everything found our seats Previews had just started. We decided to go back out wanted to get a drink and a licorice from the concession stand.: They had already threw away all the popcorn shut all the lights off and said the cash registers were already closed. We could not make any purchase. This is the same instance that occurred on a previous visit. Spoke to the manager, Mandy she explained this is a small location. AMC theaters does not care about this location and they’ve already had 1 million other customers complain with this same regard. She said AMC theater does not want to pay the employees to stay open more than 15 minutes past the last movie. I think it’s pretty poor Customer Service to not allow the lights and employees to be present in the lobby Until the last movie patron leaves the theater. They had shut the lights off in the lobby area so when we departed Ted out of the movie Screen We walked out entirely in the dark with no people around, For safety and concern of patrons, they should definitely think more about what is occurring. Shame on you AMC theaters you need to be in a better heightened concern for patrons who are paying top dollar to see Movies in your theaters. Whether we are a small town and small community, you should still care for us and all the patrons that visit...
