⭐ 1-Star Review: Deeply Disappointed by General Manager at Cannabis Bros Amity

I’ve been a loyal customer of this store for years and have had great interactions with many of the employees—most of whom are friendly and helpful. However, my experience with the general manager has been extremely disappointing and, frankly, unacceptable.

I was sold defective and broken products, and when I tried to resolve the issue, I was wrongly accused of tampering with them myself. These accusations were made with no evidence whatsoever—just baseless and suspicious assumptions. Fortunately, the regional manager later confirmed I was right, fully acknowledged the situation, and took my side.

After much resistance, the general manager reluctantly offered me a discount for my next visit. I explicitly asked if there was an expiration date, and she replied mockingly, “No, of course not, it’ll be valid whenever you come in”—with a tone that made me feel like I was asking something ridiculous.

When I returned a month later, she told me, laughing and grinning with visible satisfaction, that the discount was expired—completely contradicting her original statement. When I reminded her of her promise, she smirked and said, “I know I promised, but I didn’t think it would be a whole month.” If she truly had that concern, why say there was no expiration? The whole interaction felt calculated, malicious, and dishonest, and frankly, like a breach of trust and verbal agreement.

I did nothing to deserve this treatment. I stayed polite and respectful throughout the entire situation. Her demeanor was passive-aggressive, dismissive, and at times openly rude—even laughing at me while I tried to resolve things calmly and fairly.

What’s most disheartening is that this wasn’t an isolated moment. Over time, I’ve experienced a subtle, ongoing pattern of disrespect from this manager, which culminated in this frustrating experience. Whether it’s personal bias, a power trip, or just poor leadership, this is not how you treat customers—especially those who’ve supported your business for years.

Thankfully, the regional manager stepped in, resolved the issue professionally, and even offered me a better discount than I was initially promised. That response was appreciated. But the general manager’s attitude and behavior made the entire process unnecessarily hostile and unprofessional.

I sincerely hope this feedback is taken seriously. Respect, accountability, and basic honesty should be the minimum standard in...

Great shop ..clean, great variety , good specials ..but it is really sad to see such a bad turn over on employees . We are a small community with the home town feel .Every other business here usually is able to keep their long time local employees, which make the experience all that much better in a small community as this . Many reasons I choose to shop where I do for whatever it may be is because of the service and people . Very personable staff and good pricing on all cannabis, but especially flower one of the few places that do sales on Wednesdays and Sundays on flower .they also have a good variety of all types of cannabis.

The best bud tenders are Selena, Brianna ‘they both are very friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended bud tenders.

Not often do you find people now a days that are knowledgeable friendly, and look out for the customer.
