The Common Cup Amity — Restaurant in Amity

My girlfriend and I had breakfast at The Common Cup in Amity, and had a very bad experience. You pay when you order, so I tipped then. But they didn't serve us like they had been tipped. I ordered my girlfriend a iced mocha, and I a orange juice. We both had waffles and I had additional Hash Brown waffle that came with a poached egg that I had asked to be well done with no runny yoke. I also ordered seasonal fruit for my girlfriend. It took some time to get our order, but that I understood because they were busy. But the food came out before the drinks, and when asked about our drinks, they realized that they forgot to make them. Also the fruit never came because the girl who took our order on a notepad had forgotten to ring it up on the register. And to top it all off, my stomach turned because my egg yoke was runny. I wanted to like this place because I have lived in Amity for a year and a half, but I will never return or suggest...

Came here a few months ago. It was far better service and food. My eggs were VERY runny. The hashbrowns were half the size in width of a standard waffle. My husband was done eating before I got my food and then I'm done before my eldest child got his food. Also, we didn't receive our coffee order until the last waffle showed up and it was warm at best. Food outside of that was really good. The kitchen had a little trouble so I understand some of the delays, however the place is understaffed. Seating is difficult for a family of four if there is anyone else here with four people because all of the chairs are too tall for me I can't sit at a bar stool easily.
