Appliance One — Local services in Andalusia

They are the contracted repair shop for Whirlpool for the area. But they don't fix dishwashers. In my experience, if whirlpool schedules a dishwasher repair with them, they never contact you to cancel. Instead you are given a window of an entire day from 8am-4pm where you're supposed to be home waiting, and then they just never show up, call, text, Email...nothing. "Whirlpool knows we don't do dishwashers," was all they said when I called the next day to check in.

Okay, but customers don't know that. We buy the extra warranty unaware that our local contracted repair person doesn't work on this appliance. So why not give the customer a heads up before they spend an entire day at home waiting? The miscommunication may be between the two companies, but the customer is the one that's screwed. A cancelation notification of some sort would be appreciated instead of wasting...

I have a reason why I’m giving them a 4 stars.

I bought a washing machine from them. We brought it home and it shook like crazy! We just thought it was because we couldn’t get it leveled. Turns out the washing machine was messed up. I was out of my 30-warranty, but I decided to give them a call anyways.

I explained to them the situation, and even tho I was out of my warranty, they let me bring it in for repairs.

Instead of repairing it, they swapped it out, and gave me a more upgraded and newer washing machine. A glass top washer! I was amazed.

Just wanted to share my experience. They really keep their word! I would recommend buying from them if you are looking for a cheaper washer or dryer. They won’t do anyone wrong.

Very thankful for Appliance One...

I got a washer here a few years back, and it broke the second time I used it. I called appliance one and the owner came out the very next day to take a look at it. He didn't have the parts with him to fix it but, not only did he drive all the way out to the woods where I live, I he told me to call the store and tell the floor supervisor that I would be in the next day to pick out a new one. That is, to me at least, customer service on a different level entirely. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the parking area could use some work and it's easy to miss if you don't know what your looking for. But that's it. Keep up the good...
