They're not what they used to be when the older gentleman was their Sr manager, several years ago. Most of the front end employees are still very hospitable on the floor. Their digital app is a joke 50% of the time and when I'm overcharged due to digital coupon not taking, the mgr basically says not her issue and take it up with the 800 number. That is pathetic, a cop out and complete failure owning the company's issue, not even sending the issue up the chain that their server is an issue for weeks at a time. I see zero leadership representation quite often in the later evenings, not so much is that an issue in the day time. Evening time, there is no leaders on the floor. These are not the main managers dressed professionally that I'm referencing, it's the ones covering the floor for them. They will not do what it takes to resolve or diffuse, lacks initiative to do quick inquiries, lacks the wisdom needed. I do love this store, but the past couple of years has been getting disappointing. The customers experience being positive is no longer a priority. I'm not saying they haven't had it tough, but we all have and it's their job. No excuse. They're clean and mostly organized. Products are generally well presented. Read moreI absolutely love this grocery store! It is very clean, and organized. Every employee I have ever encountered here is very friendly and extremely helpful. The butchers cove is stocked with fresh excellent cut meats.The deli offers BOARS HEAD brand meats!! They have an actual security guard at the door, which I love! I am not only comfortable but I feel safe while shopping. They have an amazing, well stocked salad bar, and even a Starbucks cafe right inside the store! All of the food is quality. I have not once, found an out dated food item.(pet peeve). Their Payless app is the best I have ever seen. You can download coupons to use in the store and even make your grocery list on it! I no longer shop at any other grocery store! I even quit shopping at Wal-Mart all together. I love this...
Read moreI am not a fan of the way the store has been reorganized. It's almost impossible for me to find the gluten-free products I had been buying. In theory, they would be next to other similar gluten-containing products now. Most are not. I want the GF freezer products all together. Udi's products are completely absent and they seem to have stopped carrying GF corn dogs, GF Quorn cutlets and chunks.
Upside - there are now pre-sliced bags of deli meat with ingredient lists. This makes it possible to consider them as options - I'm not gonna go up to the deli and ask for an ingredient list of each meat there. That just sounds AWFUL...
