King's County Market — Local services in Andover

We have shopped at county market for 10+ years (both andover and st francis) but today was the final straw. We understand bad food will sneak through here and there, and have always just tossed the food. In the past month, we have had an abnormal amount of food we have bought that has been expired.

This week we purchased a family pack of burgers yesterday, set to expire 7/5 that lost its color and stunk up a storm(I understand that color is an additive but 2 days away from expiration, to have the smell this had is terrible)

We attempted to submit a form online to run into system errors for a non-existant repapctcha). We called up county market, just to be told to bring it back even though we are up north.

Incredibly disappointed in county market of late and would highly recommend avoiding them and using Target and Coborns like we will going forward.

Bad food is a fact of grocery, bad customer experience...

If I'm honest, I prefer the King's County Market in St Francis. But I shop there much more frequently than Andover and so I know where everything is, and I think it makes much more sense. Now I've heard others say the same thing about Andover. That being said, I think Andover does not keep their shelves as well stocked, has fewer brand choices for products, and there is a real problem with the produce. The lettuce is often wilted, many of the fresh vegetables are not so firm and fresh. I think part of it is due to the inability of the water spray to provide good coverage on the produce. As for the employees, they are friendly and helpful, as you would expect in a grocery store. I've never had any problems in that area. The store is small and generally has what I need for the occasional shopping trip. I'll stop there usually before...

went to get groceries for my mom, she was up here for treatment at mayo. couldnt use her ebt card to get a few things while she was here since it was from Iowa. had to travel to a different store.
