Food Lion — Local services in Angier

My phone went missing inside this store today. And although that is never a good thing, it couldn’t have happened inside of a better place. I went to a gentleman named Justin and let him know what happened and asked for help. From the MOMENT I asked for help, to an hour later finding it.. this man never left my side helping me. From using his own phone to try to help me locate it, to calling my mobile carrier for me trying to help me get a updated location because I was panicking too badly myself to do it. Checking cameras, ect. He also made a call over the radio describing my phone and I literally watched every associate at the front check their surroundings as well as ask every customer they saw if they’d seen the phone. My terrifying situation was made just a bit better by the kindness and compassion by everyone on staff this afternoon. The manager ended up finding it in a location we won’t discuss. But nonetheless, every worker here went above and beyond to help me find it. I could cry I am so thankful. I would like the thank EVERYONE for their help, love, compassion, and kindness. But also specifically Justin who stayed by my side through this stressful situation and made sure the best possible outcome happened. You all are amazing. And I’m beyond thankful and grateful...

The Food Lion in Angier is a very nice store although customer service was not as good as I expected, because I am used to Kroger or Harris Teeter and their policy is the customer is always right and if you thought a product was a different price as a general rule they give you the price you thought it was. Because sometimes the way products are arranged on shelves make it difficult to decipher which product is the sale item.. and I've never had a problem with getting the price I thought it was at Harris Teeter or Kroger... And when I complained it to Food Lion about that practice of deception which is common in all grocery stores... They took three customers in front of me before they went to check the price on the bread that I thought was on sale and so for a 2 minutes stop it was 20 minutes when I called back and ask to speak to a manager they did address the problem satisfactorily.. I will still use Food Lion I just hope their customer...

This store is terrible. I have been shopping here for years. The current manager that runs the store is very rude with a terrible attitude. I’ve seen him get very smart with his associates and supervisors. I’ve even seen one cry over it. Also when shopping fresh items I have looked to see if new dates were in the back which had older dates in the back so they’re not rotating their product for customer freshness please be careful! Store has a very foul smell and has had refrigeration problems where they’ve been seen transferring freight back and forth not guaranteeing freshness of these products. Lastly I asked a young man with glasses he was the the manager working closing the store well I asked him a question & he responded very smart and rude responding to me as if I was dumb. Overall very bad store not one of my favorite foodlion so will not be shopping here anymore and neither should you! Please...
