New Rainbow — Restaurant in Angier

I've been living in town for years and being as they are the only Chinese place in town I have ordered from them for years. I've never had any problems with the service they've always been very friendly with me I make sure to leave a couple dollars in the tip jar. I make sure they see me leave a couple dollars. I always order online so there is no language barrier issue with the phone. I ordered chicken with mushrooms and add broccoli what I was given was chicken with mixed vegetables. In the past if there has been a question about my order they have called. Today they just made whatever they wanted and gave it to me. I asked them to fix it I told them about what I actually ordered and The youngest woman there was very disrespectful and yelled at me across the restaurant in front of other customers waiting for their food because she wanted my meal back. I told her if she was going to throw it away that I could do that for her because I wasn't going to have her resell it to another person after my children had touched the food. If looks could kill I wouldn't be posting this review that's what I would say. so be very careful on what you order and make sure it's exactly what you want. In the future just avoid the youngest woman completely actually. I'm sure she already has the best day by working in a hot restaurant but she did not need to talk to me that way when they made a mistake. Average tasting takeout Chinese food. We have ordered from them several times since moving to the area, mainly due to the convenience of the location. Although some dishes are tastier than others, namely the shrimp and mixed vegetables and their hot and sour soup, I decided to write a review regarding the cost of their foods on the menu. Unfortunately due to covid-19, the business decided to close for a while and has recently re-opened. That being said, it appears that they have had to raise their prices to make up for the closure or modifications. Yesterday we called in an order to pickup without a current menu and were unpleasantly surprised at how much the bill was. They have slightly raised their prices for dishes that were originally overpriced, namely vegetable mai fun for $9.59! No sauce, just plain! I had to add my own spices at home to give it some flavor! That's ridiculous. Vegetables and rice noodles do not cost that much! The spare ribs and shrimp with vegetables combo were $8.99 each. Ive eaten at this Chinese Restaurant 1,000x!!! And never have I EVER tasted SPOILED CHICKED!!! The chicken that they used to make my "chicken fried rice" was spoiled 😭 The taste of it OMG!!! I was trying to figure out why I kept tasting something spoiled and I couldn't put my hands on it ... I had to individually taste my rice, the sesame, the sesame chicken, the sauce, EVERYTHING. AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE THE CHICKEN THAT WAS IN THE RICE 🤢🤮 This really just put a bad taste in my mouth becuase therenis no way you would serve someone SPOILED CHICKEN, AND NOT KNOW ITS SPOILED!!!!!
