Terrible experience at the Angola IN store. We ordered a vanity and faucet that we were told would be here in 2-3 weeks. After calling multiple times, no one having any answers, and many promises to call us back with information and “rush” shipping the items to us, they finally came in 7 weeks later. We made the 45 minute drive to the store to pick it up, another 45 minutes back home to find out the entire back of the vanity is cracked all over and the door were put on so incorrectly they were crooked and didn’t even close. The store mangers soloution was for us to drive back down there to drop off the vanity, have them order a new one (they had no idea how long this was going to take to get a new one in) then drive back down there to get it when it finally arrives and to “hope it’s better then the last one.” Or we could come get a vanity they have in store that looks “just like the one we bought” they said, except for it was a totally different style, didn’t match our bathroom and had different dimensions and wouldn’t even fit. Overall this was a complete disappointment in their product, terrible customer service with no reasonable solution for our situation. We were treated as an inconvenience to the employees and manger. It was however nice to have a learned this at the beginning of our complete home renovation so we will not waste anymore of our time and money at menards. They are being taking off our wedding registry and we will finish our remodel with Home Depot..a store they will give us quality products...

May 16,2022 we ordered 8 new Jeld-Wen double hung windows from Menards in Angola, Indiana. Installed them in July. The bottom sash on one window was out of "square" for a lack of better words and wouldn't shut correctly. Went back to Menards and talked with the millwork department head who placed our order. Told him the iasue. He sent 2 emails to Jeld-Wen asking about replacing the bottom sash. Many days later we got a call from Jeld-Wen needing more info. Once the sash was ordered, expected shipping date was about September 22 2022. On October 3,2022 snce we hadn't heard from Menards I called Jeld-Wen and they told me the sash had been shipped on August 30, 2022 by "company truck". Called Menards and asked about the sash and was told in 2 separate calls that they would look for it and let me know. Never heard anything more. Next day we went to Menards and spoke with the manager and millwork department head whom we had been dealing with. Told them it was shipped on August 30. He said it wouldn't be the first time they heard something was shipped but wasn't. Now we have no recourse with either Menards or Jeld-Wen and are stuck with a misaligned sash. Not happy campers with either company or their response to this problem. Both companies...
Read moreNEVER SETTING FOOT IN MENARDS AGAIN! My daughter and I were picking up a few things for our lake house yesterday(may 1 3:30pm).We walked past 2 employees and they greeted us and went about our shopping. When we got to the check out we were checking out and the check out woman was friendly and nice. Then the store manager saw we weren't wearing covid 19 masks. She came over and very rudely told my daughter and I that we needed to leave immediately. I started that I planned on leaving as soon as the cashier was done ringing up my order. She ordered the cashier to stop. She again said we needed to leave immediately. I said nobody said anything at the door and there were no posted signs anywhere. She said somebody at the door should have stopped us. She singled us out and rudely made a scene in front of a store full of people. She handled the whole situation very poorly and was rude to me and my daughter. Theres no law in Indiana or that county saying masks were required. Further more we were literally 30sec from being on our way out and she wouldn't let the cashier continue. I want to thank her for helping to make our decision to be life long...
